The establishment of Techniques International Corp’s Nigeria division in 1993 marked a significant milestone in its global operations in the oil and gas sector. The company provided business and technical services to prominent industry players, including: ExxonMobil, Chevron, Sensia, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, ENI, Oryx Petroleum, Addax. These collaborations allowed the company to establish a strong presence in Nigeria.  The organization was able to leverage its expertise to expand into other areas of West Africa, The Middle East, Europe, Asia, North and South America. 

The company executed turnkey operations for Emerald Energy/Cnooc.  Addax and Oryx Petroleum, where complete teams of experts managed the entire process from planning to execution. This approach ensured efficiency and high standards of safety and quality throughout their operations.

The company’s Drill Teams, developed by their Executive Teams, received the President’s Award two years in a row for their contribution to the Mobil Producing Nigeria Ltd. Safety Program. This program was recognized for its effectiveness and later became a model, being replicated in other countries, including Equatorial Guinea, Poland, Germany, Hungary, and Iraq for their operations. 

A significant focus was placed on training national employees, transitioning them into skilled professionals. The company implemented industry and global standards for Quality Management and Technical Skills, ensuring their workforce was highly competent. The company actively fostered a collaborative, coaching, and growth mindset within their teams. This culture encouraged stakeholders to refine their skills, ultimately leading to the development of future leaders in the industry.

In 2023, the company underwent a significant transition by transferring its highly qualified team to new ownership.  The new ownership is committed to upholding adherence to the high standards set by the founders and maintaining operational excellence and quality management practices established by the founders, while transitioning to their own quality standards. This continuity ensures that the company remains reliable and effective in its service, delivery, and maintaining trust with existing clients.
